This gathering is not offering medical advice, it is a place for metaphor and finding meaning.
It is about the stories we tell ourselves and an invitation to be truthful and creative!
Each week you are guided with a theme, providing you with a map which helps lay the foundation of deeper understanding and self compassion.
You can experience your art making as a container of your inner world which helps you reflect and learn about yourself and your needs.
You get to be supported and feel safe so that you can better understand and process your emotions, thoughts and behaiours.
This chapter in a womans life can be so tricky, so unfair and yes, extremely challenging!
This is why I designed this offering.
After my own difficult transition through menopause, with no medical support, (because of lack of truthful knowledge and awareness,) I sought out an alternative pathway. I embraced my own art as therapy, got support from a local herbalist and read literature that redefined the menopause; as *The Great Awakener!
Spoiler alert.
Yes, it really is!
These art making spaces are all about giving you a new way to express how the menopause is for you.
You get to feel supported and seen by other women, which has the benefits of helping emotional and nervous regulation and boosting your levels of oxytocin too.
“Creative Responses to Menopause” is a unique kind of group for women in peri menopause and menopause.
