Reverence and Beauty; Mapping it Within and Without

Themes of deep ecology, connectivity, perception, and relationship weave through the paintings.

The sensation of belonging, and feeling of aliveness in the natural world that Charlotte experienced growing up, have supported her art and healing practices for over a decade.

Her art invites you to the threshold between what we perceive to be reality and what is beyond, through a celebration of the senses and sensuality.

Her paintings bridge inner and outer states and encourage broader ways of feeling, seeing and sensing ourselves and the elements of existence. She loves the idea of mapping a visual of the brain, body and breath triangle with colour and form.

She considers the purpose of awe and wonder as vital to awakening consciousness and as an evolutionary tool and she honours the mystery of beauty merging the ordinary and non-ordinary world, with subtle surrealism.

Her paintings invite the presence of the divine, while simultaneously plugging the viewer firmly into the fecundity of the natural world.
