WELCOME TO MY ONLINE STUDIO
The relationship between our outer and inner worlds perpetually inspires me. I paint nature's hidden songs, heard through the poetry of archetype, myth and landscape. The grace, power and fragility of life longs for us to hear it. Listen quietly when you look at my pictures - hear what the bumblebee says to you about time!
Inspired by a beautiful book on medieval beekeeping, I created some miniature paintings which have been made into beautiful greeting cards. Click on the link above to see my new Christmas cards I’ve been painting this year.
Exclusive Group: here you can read more about our New Moon Women’s Group. We meet monthly in Louth at Fern and Favour. Places are limited so book your place for this month.
ASK, AND I WILL CREATE YOUR DREAM PIECE
Commissioning a piece is the highest honour an artist can receive.
As a Painter and Art Therapist I am experienced in the art of creating as well as exploring images, including how to work with metaphor and the language of colour and form. I can help draw out the painting you cannot perhaps yet see on canvas, but know in your minds eye and heart what you want. Together we can get clear on the perfect painting you want! Here's how it works
TAKE A LOOK!
What you see are exquisitely hand finished limited edition prints or private commissions to enrich your home or workplace. Some hang in collections in far flung places. Many more reside on bedside tables or in softly-lit alcoves. Recurring themes of magic, self-knowledge and the feminine are waiting to delight you.Visit my current collections here: discover A Time of Bees; explore mythical portraits of Feminine Awakening or meet Wise Dawn and her friends, the Long Ladies.
Quality ARTISAN WORK
Preferring traditional techniques like those of the Renaissance masters, I work mainly in oil on canvas or board. Acrylics and other materials come into play too, before being delivered as commissioned paintings or translated into fine art limited edition prints. Depth is everything.
All Charlotte Kessler hand-finished prints are created using the highest quality Giclee process on heavy-weight non-fade paper ensuring they are treasures which can pass from generation to generation. Which ones would you want to live with?
